An apparatus for manufacturing a decorated molded product is provided, which comprises a first clamping device 4 for pressing an insert film 7 to a parting face of a fixed mold 11 to enclose a cavity 10 and an injection gate 14, the fixed mold 11 having a vacuum suction port 16 and the injection gate 14 for a molten resin 17, a movable mold 13 having a runner 112 facing the injection gate 14 and communicating with the cavity 10, and in which the insert film 7 is held between the fixed mold 11 and movable mold 13, so that a pattern of the insert film 7 is formed to a molded product simultaneously when the product is injection-molded. The insert film 17 after pressed to a surface of the fixed mold 11 by the first clamping device 4 is brought in tight contact with the fixed mold 1 through vacuum suction, and the molten resin 17 is injected from the injection gate 14 to pass through the runner 112 of the movable mold 13 from a hole formed in the insert film 7 to finally reach the cavity 10 and fill a gap between the insert film 7 and movable mold 13.
