<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove zinc chloride by adding SOx gas to combustion waste gas containing zinc chloride and keeping the temp. of the combustion waste gas constant to form zinc sulfate and subsequently collecting zinc sulfate by a filter. CONSTITUTION:SOx gas is introduced into combustion waste gas from the introducing port 4 provided to the front stage of a dust collector 3. The addition amount of the SOx gas is set to a reaction equivalent or more. The combustion waste gas is held to 400 deg.C or less to form zinc sulfate which is, in turn, removed as dust by a dust collector. By this method, the diffusion of zinc chloride to the atmosphere is prevented.</p> |
