In a fishing rod comprising pipe rods, the pipe rods have anti-slipping regions (S1) on the surfaces thereof which are directional in slip resistance in such a manner that the anti-slipping regions are high in slip resistance in one direction (D), and low in slip resistance in the opposite direction.
