PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of copies by utilizing effectively a machine start-up time. SOLUTION: This machine is made up of an automatic draft feeder (ADF) 101, a read unit 106 reading the image of an original fed to an original read position by the ADF 101, a memory storing the image read by the read unit 106, a write unit 117 printing out the image read by the read unit 106 onto transfer paper, and an operation section 201 setting the reservation of operations till printing is enable such as a pre-heat time of a fixing temperature. In this case, a main controller 401 controls the ADF101 and the read unit 106 within a time when the machine is available of operation actually and printing is made enable when the operation reservation is set by the operation section 201 and reads the original and stores the image to the memory. |
