PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stable operation by monitoring a power supply voltage supplied to an application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) and controlling the initialization signals of the ASIC in a picture processor. SOLUTION: Power is supplied and a CPU starts monitoring the power supply voltage VEE of the ASIC (S1). It is confirmed that the power supply voltage VEE becomes higher than VL and lower than VH within a voltage range where the stable operation of the ASIC is performed and is stabilized (S2). The CPU turns an output port PO to a low level and starts the initialization of the ASIC (S3) and the CPU judges the lapse of a fixed period t1 for which the time for completing the initialization for the ASIC or the like is considered (S4). After the fixed period t1, the CPU turns the output port PO to a high level and ends the initialization of the ASIC (S5). Thereafter, the ASIC is controlled and the operation of a picture processing is performed (S6). |
