<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively adsorb and remove ethylene gas generated by aspiration of a agricultural food or cut flowers, provide a germicidal effect to suppress propagation of microorganisms by application of far infrared rays to preserve freshness for a long time by blending a specific wt.% of crushed Natsume-stone powder into synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin which is easy to mold into a film or a sheet and easy to obtain an arbitrary shape may be preferably used. A ratio of crushed Natsume-stone powder to be blended into the synthetic resin is 2 to 300wt.% based on 100wt.% of the synthetic resin. The crushed Natsume-stone powder adsorbs ethylene gas and further odorant such as ammonia and also can preserve freshness of agricultural food such as vegetables and fruits and cut flowers by far infrared rays emitted from the crushed stone powder. However, less than 2wt.% of the powder cannot obtain a required effect for maintaining freshness, and more than 300wt.% may cause a packing material or a container for maintaining freshness which has been hardened after melting and kneading to be fragile or poor in moldability.</p> |
