PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the safety by expanding an air bag accurately against the chest of a driver without interfering with an handle, letting the chest of the driver located in the closest place to the handle be fearless of being hit against the handle even if he is in operation while seating in a place close to the handle, and also letting the air bag be so designed as to be hit against his chest after the air bag has been entirely developed. SOLUTION: In order to prevent an air bag from hitting against a driver before an air bag device 80 has been entirely developed at the time of collision, the aforesaid device is provided at a place lower than a handle 50. In order to protect the chest of the driver seating in the closest place to the handle 50, a part of the handle 50 is so formed as to be cut off at its lower part. |
