PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing color filters which is capable of preventing the occurrence of pinholes, drop-outs, etc., even in the color filters having fine and intricate pixel arrangement and producing the color filters having stable and good quality free from defects, such as unequal coloration, is large in the degree of freedom in pixel arrangement, is capable of arranging nontranslucent layers closely between the color filter pixels, facilitates dealing with a larger size, facilitates mass production and is simple. SOLUTION: This process for producing the filters includes a stage for bringing mists contg. particles of the grain size smaller than the diameter of the apertures of photosensitive resin layers patterned as the color filters in the photosensitive resin layer on a conductive layer into contact with electrodes provided with these apertures and executing electrodeposition coating for coloration with the electrodes in the state of previously adhering the mists in the apertures as electrodes. |
