摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an algorithm which is selected at high speed by providing a pulse sequencer which generates a self clocking pulse sequence. SOLUTION: Function logic 24 receives a multiplicand and a multiplier and relies on the pulse sequencer 34 in accordance with a multiplication algorithm but executes respective multiplications at the speed of a timing without relying on a reference clock. The pulse sequencer 34 monitors the start signal of a line 32 from a synchronous state machine 30 and generates a pair of signals so as to transmit them from the line 33 to function logic 24 at the time of shifting the start signal to a logical value '1'. That is, the pulse sequencer 34 is connected so as to receive input data at first speed, generates output data at second speed being independent from the first one and generates a function logic 24 class which are connected so as to transmit the data at first speed and the self time-type pulse sequence corresponding to the second one so as to be connected for controlling function logic 24.</p>
