<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a joint to a pipe surely and easily by locking one way of a pair of fixing tools which are slidably and alternately with a pipe side, locking the other one with a joint side, drawing both fixing tools up alternately, and inserting and connecting the pipe to the joint. SOLUTION: An engaging part 18 which consists of a flange piece 18a engaged with a notch 16 arranged on the vertical piece 14a of a receiving body 14 is arranged on a volute joint 1a, and an engaging part 19 which consists of a recessed part 19a engaged with the notch 16 arranged on the vertical piece 15a of a supporting body 15 is arranged on a sleeve 17. The vertical piece 14a of the receiving body 14 is engaged with the joint 1, the vertical piece 15a of the supporting body 15 is engaged with the sleeve 17 of the end part of a pipe 2, a fastening nut 22 is rotated, the vertical piece 15a of the supporting body 15 is slidably moved, so that it may come closer to the vertical piece 14a of the receiving body 14, and thereby, the joint 1 and the pipe 2 are connected to each other.</p> |
