REPAIR OF SAGGER FOR BAKING ELECTRONIC PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the reuse of a sagger and prolong the life of a sagger at a low cost by coating a deficient part or a peeled part of zirconia in the sagger for baking electronic parts with a specific surface treating agent and drying the coated surface treating agent. SOLUTION: A zirconia powder having <=30μm particle diameter is dispersed in a solvent such as water to provide a slurried surface treating agent. A deficient part 1 or a peeled part 2 of zirconia in a sagger for baking electronic parts prepared by coating the surface of a substrate, comprising alumina and having 10-75% apparent porosity is subsequently coated with the surface treating agent so as to afford 30-280μm thickness. The coated surface treating agent is then naturally dried and baked.
