METHOD AND DEVICE TO PERFORM WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE BASED ON SOFTWARE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the wireless remote control of the consumer electronic products by using an application program which converts an electronic signal into a wireless communication signal and is carried out by a processor and then attaching an accessory device to a home computer. SOLUTION: A TV receiver 10 includes a video cassette recorder 14 which has the infrared receiving ports 12 and 16. These components receive the wireless infrared remote control signals from a home computer 20. The computer 20 includes a display monitor 22, a system device 24, a keyboard 26 and a mouse 28. Furthermore, an infrared transmission accessory parts 30 is added to the computer 20. Then just a single resistance and single diode are used in terms of hardware for generation of the remote control signals. Thus this constitution is attained with high flexibility and at low cost and also can be extended to perform the complicated control of the consumer electronic products.
