PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a circuit in which two power source voltage coexist inexpensively and with high reliability. SOLUTION: A CPU 31 monitors power source voltage to be fed to ASIC (image processing means) 21 to 23 and performs various kinds of processings. Namely, after it is judged that power source voltage (VEE) fed to the ASIC 21 to 23 reaches within a preliminarily set first voltage range (V1H>VEE>V1L) after a power source is turned on, the controls of the ASIC 21 to 23 are started. Subsequently, when it is judged that the power source voltage (VEE) is deviated from the first voltage range (V1H>VEE>V1L), the reading operation by an image reading means is inhibited, and when it is judged that the power source voltage (VEE) is deviated from the second voltage range (V 2H>VEE>V2L) which is wider than the first voltage range (V1H>VEE>V1L), the power feeding to the ASIC 21 to 23 is stopped. |
