PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device capable of easily and quickly inputting a bank name in a transfer transaction and improving the operability. SOLUTION: A touch panel 5 is provided on the screen of a liquid crystal display device 6, an input screen provided with a character input area is displayed at the liquid crystal display device 6, and when a character is plotted on the touch panel 5 in the character input area of the input screen, position information for indicating the handwriting of the character is inputted through an input control part 31 and a character input part 33 and the character pattern of the handwriting indicated by the string of the inputted position information is recognized in a character recognition part 34. The recognized result is displayed at the liquid crystal display device 6 as a character string and the bank names provided with the character matching with the character string which is the recognized result at a head are retrieved from the plural bank names inside a word storage part 36. When the retrieved results become less than 10 pieces, the retrieved bank names are listed and displayed at the liquid crystal display device 6 and the desired bank name is selected from the displayed bank names. |
