PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overflowing of developer from the developing port of a developing unit by preventing the developer from infiltrating to the end part of a developer carrier, at the time of moving the developer inside the developing unit accompanying the rotation of the developing unit. SOLUTION: End part covering member 210 which are projected toward the central part side in the longitudinal direction of a developing roller 84 from side plate 50 and 51 for supporting the developing roller 84 on both sides in the longitudinal direction to cover the end parts of a magnet 201 with prescribed widths C, respectively, are disposed so that the end part covering members 210 comes into contact with a magnetic brush formed by the magnetic force of the magnet 201 on the developing roller 84 and cover the outer peripheral part of the developing roller 84 not exposed from the developing port of the developing unit. |
