Beer cellar chilling assembly and chilled supply tubes

Process and assembly chill beer and, clean delivery tubes to the serving taps at required intervals. The novelty is that: (a) the drink is chilled to 6 deg C in a holding vessel before passage through the tubes to serving taps; (b) the tubes to the taps are chilled; (c) the taps are chilled; (d) the delivery tubes are rinsed with a cleaning agent towards the taps after each serving shift; (e) the cleaning agent remaining in the tubes is discharged from the tap and the tubes and tap are then flushed with fresh drink, before the resumption of customer service, and (f) the cleaning agent is water with dilute citric acid and chilled to a pre-determined temperature. A suitable assembly incorporates a chilled chamber (1) in which the beer casket (2) is held. A multi-path valve (3) is fitted to the casket releasing beer to the taps, or water for rinsing, or a chemical cleaning agent. A chilling assembly (7) cools the flushing water.
