PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the sensitivity/fogging ratio, the reciprocity and the shelf- stability. SOLUTION: A substrate is formed thereon with as least one silver halide emulsion layer having a thickness of 0.002μm to 0.035μm and containing silver halide particles chemically sensitized by a tellurium compound which is exhibited by the following formula: R<1> Ten R<2> where R<2> are independent from each other, and a fat group radical, an aromatic group radical, a heterocyclic radical or-(C= R<9> )-R<3> , and further, R<3> is a hydrogen atom, a fat group radical, an aromatic group radical or a heterocyclic radical, -NR<4> (R<5> ), -OR<6> or -SR<7> R<9> represents on oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or -NR<8> , and (R<4> , R<5> , R<6> , R<7> , and R<8> are a hydrogen atom, a fat group radical, an aromatic radical and a heterocyclic radical, respectively), and N or 1 or 2.
