The present invention comprises 1.- A correction of a recorder tape counting device. 2.1 In information recording and/or reproducing machines, such as a glass recorder, particular sections or scenes are known to be marked on a recording which subsequently can be specifically seen or specifically wound up by a control with the machine tape counting device; however, in the event of counting mistakes produced by the tape counting device, for example, after repeated winding operations of said recording means, the place where said marks are located on the corresponding tape can not be found. 2.2 According to the present invention, the recorded sections which are marked are selectively wound from a reference mark by means of the tape counting device and the correspondingly stored tape counting reading values. 2.3 In particular, a video recorder is disclosed. 3.- Figure 1.
