PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic optical article with a multilayered antireflection film having a low reflectance in a wide visible light region and less liable to scratch and contamination. SOLUTION: This plastic optical article has a multilayered antireflection film formed by successively disposing a scratch resistant hard coating layer of 1-15μm thickness as a 1st layer, a 2nd layer based on ZrO2 or ITO, a 3rd layer based on MgF2 or SiO2 , a 4th layer based on ITO, a 5th layer based on MgF2 or SiO2 and a 6th layer based on SiO2 on one face or both faces of the plastic film or sheet substrate. The reflectance of the surface of the antireflection film is <=1% in a visible light region of >=180nm wavelength. |
