PURPOSE:To obtain a device for locking an opening/closing door plate, which has the simple structure and the excellent durability and which can open/close a door easily without distinction of automatic or manual operation and which can lock and release automatically. CONSTITUTION:A locking device comprises a nearly L-shape latch 4, of which one part is supported freely to turn by an upper edge of a door plate 2 and which consists of a horizontal part having a connecting/disconnecting part and a vertical part extended from the rear end of the horizontal part at a right angle, a chain member 7 for opening/closing a door plate, of which one end is fixed to the latch 4 and the other end is fixed to the latch 4 or the sliding door plate, a pair of rotating member, between which the chain member is stretched and which are respectively arranged at moving ends of the door plate, and a clamp 12 to be connected/disconnected to/from the latch 4 at the time of closing the door. The chain member 7 is turned manually or electrically to open/close the door plate, and at the time of opening the door plate, the latch 4 is released from the clamp 12 automatically by the chain member 7, and at the time of closing the door, the latch 4 is locked automatically. |
