The tubular electrical resistance(6) has a circular form and is designed to be fixed under the disc-shaped heating plate(5) of the appliance. The ends(6') of the resistance are connected to a thermal switch(8) placed near to the middle of the resistance. The switch is designed to measure the resistance temperature and to interrupt the electrical supply when the resistance temperature exceeds a set level. A part of the resistance follows the peripheral contours of the heating plate(5), whilst the ends extend towards the middle of the heating resistance. The resistance is symmetrical with respect to an axis of symmetry(5') of the plate. |
