<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for an oil-based ball-point pen, comprising a specific phosphoric acid derivative, an organic solvent and a colorant, excellent in lubricity, hardly deteriorating the ink in a pen point without carrying out the writing for a long time and capable of providing smooth writing quality even in the case of a ball-point pen tip made of stainless steel. SOLUTION: This ink composition for an oil-based ball-point pen comprises (A) a phosphoric acid derivative comprising a polyoxyethylene alkyl(phenyl) ether-phosphoric mono- or diester or a salt thereof e.g. a compound of the formula [R is a 1-30C alkyl(phenyl); R' is H or a group of the formula R(CH2 CH2 O)n [(n) is 2-20]}, (B) an organic solvent and (C) a colorant. Furthermore, the composition contains the component (A) in an amount of preferably 0.1-10wt.%, especially preferably 0.5-5wt.% based on the total amount of the composition.</p> |
