<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new poppet type check valve easy to manufacture by composing it of two members of which injection molding can be made, and which are easy to engage with each other and are capable of forming separate check valve structures. SOLUTION: A rubber body part 16 of seal element 12 in a check valve device 10 has a head 18, an annular shoulder part 20 extending sideway from the head 18 and a bulb-shaped bottom end 26. The upper surface 22 of the shoulder part 20 provides a seal range capable of engaging with a bulb-shaped poppet type check valve assembly. An annular groove 23 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the rubber body part 16 positioned between the lower surface 25 and the bottom end 26 of the bulb-shaped part, and a support member 14 is retained therein. At the bottom of the groove 23 a taper is formed so that the dia. at the bottom end 26 becomes smaller than that at the shoulder 20, and an opening 32 is formed at the bottom end 26. The opening 32 extends to the inside longer than the distance of the bottom end 26, and for facilitating insertion and removement of the seal element into and from the inside of the supper member 14, the bottom end 26 can be curved.</p> |
