PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having milky way-toned, metallic, or wholly uniform metallic appearance and markedly remedied in defective phenomena in the vicinity of weld lines. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin with 0.01-10 pts.wt. of reflectively smooth-surfaced polyhedral particles 7-350μm in average size and 1/4-1 in average aspect ratio coated with metal >=100Åbut <1000Åin thickness.
