<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping type pipe joint advantageous both in costs and weight and capable of controlling sealing by the fastening force of a clamp. SOLUTION: A pipe joint is composed of a clamp 8 having a plurality of internally protruded deformed clicks 8b in the inner surface of a band part 8a for covering the fitting parts of both pipes and a fastening bolt 9 provided in the band part 8a for reducing the inner diameter of the band part 8a by its fastening operation and each of the deformed clicks 8b is formed to have a pair of click parts having a narrow tip side click interval opposite an axial direction. The tips of the pair of click parts are arranged and fastened to step parts formed in the fitting part positions of both pipes so as to be protruded and thus, by the deformation of the pair of click parts, the fastening bolt 9 is used as a bolt for press-reducing a distance between the step parts.</p> |
