PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the segregative disposal property and tamper-evident proprty of a cap by a method wherein a thin wall part formed at the lower end of a tubular shell of an inner cap is peeled off to form a cutout. SOLUTION: A container cap consists of an inner cap 1 and an upper cap 2 that is screwed on the inner cap 2. A thin wall part 20 is formed at a position along the lower end of a cylindrical shell 6 of the inner cap 1 and under an annular protrusion 7 of the cylindrical shell 6, and connected to the cylindrical shell 6 by tearable bridges 21. The thin wall part 20 is thin enough to turn up easily with a hand or a screwdriver without providing a handle, and can be peeled off by tearing off the bridges 21. By peeling off the thin wall part 21, a cutout having a shape corresponding to the thin wall part 20 is formed at the open end of cylindrical shell 6. Therefore, the thin wall part 20 of the inner cap 1 mounted on the mouth of a container is peeled off to form the cutout, and the inner cap 1 can be removed from the mouth of the container by putting a bottle opener in the cutout. |
