PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily have a cup of favorite tea without use of a teapot, by providing a tea leaves-container forming a containing space of tea leaves so as to be freely opened or closed and water-permeable. SOLUTION: This tea server 1 is provided with a tea leaves-container 10 constituted of a body 10a and a cover 10b oppositely arranged and a lug 20. The body 10a and the cover 10b are provided with flanges 11 respectively at the peripheral edges and a nearly semielliptic spherical tea leaves-container 12 is formed to secure a certain space. Accordingly, when both body and cover are assembled, the inside is formed to contain tea leaves. A number of water permeable holes 14 are opened in the tea leaves container 12. These holes have a such a diameter that the tea leaves are prevented from flowing out although water is permeable. The body 10a and the cover 10b are connected to each other through a hinge 15 so as to be freely opened. A fixing latch 16 is attached to one of free end sides and a latch receiver 17 is attached to the other end. A lug 20 is integrally formed in the body 10a. |
