PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum material to be brazed, excellent in flowability of brazing filler metal, capable of forming superior fillet of brazed joint, and excellent also in strength, according to a brazing method using no clad material. SOLUTION: This material is a member to be brazed by using a noncorrosive flux and a metal powder. In this member, 0.7-2.5wt.% Fe and/or 0.5-2.0wt.% Mn is contained and Mg content is regulated to <=0.2wt.%, and further, the number of second phase grains of >5μm maximum grain size at a depth of 20μm from the surface to which noncorrosive flux and metal powder are to be applied is regulated to <=200pieces/mm<2> .
