PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To base-isolate a bridge beam to prevent the falling of a bridge, and prevent the bridge beam and a bridge pier or a bridge base from being ruptured or broken. SOLUTION: Base isolation bridge falling preventing devices 10 are set on both sides of a steel beam S, and each device is roughly formed of a base plate 1 fixed to the end part of a web W; a base isolation rubber 12 mounted on the base plate 1 in such a manner as to be slightly slidable in the bridge axial direction; a support plate 16 on which the base isolation rubber 12 is mounted; and a bracket 14 fixed to the support plate 16 and also fixed to a bridge pier P.
