The unit (8) receives picture data transmitted by a transmitting device and displays a picture. A device (10) detects an apparatus within the picture and produces information covering a part picture field selected by a user. A control device (9) receives data about the part picture field from the detecting device and controls the transmissions from the sending device of picture information to the display unit so that in consequence the actual picture is displayed with a higher resolution in the part picture field than in the remaining parts of the picture. The control device controls the transmission device so that it transmits picture information relative to the part picture field so that the viewed picture is centred around the picture field so that the viewed picture is centred around the picture field. |
