The insert has a housing enclosing a battery block, electrical contact elements and a flexible conductor system, with the electrical connection between the battery block and the electrical device provided automatically when the insert is plugged into the device. The battery block is coupled to the flexible conductor system via contact paths, the ends of the conductor system contact paths applied to a flexible foil mechanically supported for forming the contact elements brought into contact with counter-contacts of the supplied electrical device.
