Protective earth covering

Banks or plant containers are covered by earth protection comprising two webs of equal width of cocoa fibre (1), between which a wire mesh (2) is laid, of smaller width than the webs. The edges of the cocoa fibre webs are joined together, preferably by being folded over the webs to meet over the mesh. The mesh preferably is of structural steel and may contain longitudinal and/or transverse iron bars, transverse bars projecting from the mesh.
