PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wire stripping apparatus by which an insulating coating can be stripped simply from a wire in which a cut line is formed in advance. SOLUTION: One pair of upper and lower coating pressure plates 3, 2 which are composed of an elastic body are installed, the lower-side coating pressure plate 2 is fixed to a pedestal 1, and the upper-side coating pressure plate 3 is moved, via respective links 6, by a foot pedal 5 installed at the lower part of the pedestal in such a way that it can be brought close to, and separated from, the lower-side coating pressure plate 2. An insulating coating (w-a) which is to be stripped at a wire (w) is inserted between the upper and lower coating pressure plates 2, 3, and it is brought into pressure contact so as to be sandwiched between the upper and lower coating pressure plates 2, 3. In this state, the wire is pulled out from the upper and lower coating pressure plates, and the insulating coating is stripped. |
