PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the evolution of ammonia from a concrete or a mortar and shorten the seasoning period of a building by mixing an ammonia adsorbent when kneading the concrete or mortar. SOLUTION: This concrete or mortar is obtained by kneading a cement 12 with an aggregate such as sand 14 or gravel 16, water 18 and an ammonia adsorbent selected from an ion exchange resin having acidic groups in an amount of 1-50% based on the cement and a metallic compound having an acidic group.
