PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a picture to which a smooth gradation, which a user requires is applied, even in an output device with a low gradation. SOLUTION: A dithering pattern generating device 4 inputs a division degree 1 and graphic data 2 and an area designated by graphic data 2 is divided based on the division degree 1. The plotting colors of the divided areas are obtained based on the colors of a starting point and an end point added in graphic data 2, a change function and a gradation direction and the dithering pattern corresponding to the plotting color is selected from a dithering pattern table 3. A dithering pattern plotting device 5 respectively executes the plotting of the dithering pattern which is selected by the dithering pattern generating device 4. |
