The adjustable vehicle seat comprises a seat (6) and a back (8). The seat has a front portion (10) which can be tipped from an integral position to an extracted position where it stays in a raised position on a fixed rear seat portion (13) and against a lower fixed back portion (20). The back has a central portion (16) which can be tipped from its integral position to a front position where it is held by two lateral tie rods (36). These tie rods connect it to a fixed back frame (38) and its rear face (46) constitutes a back for a very young child seat back on the front portion. Each tie rod is connected to the central portion by a transverse pivot (50) and is capable of being positioned along a lateral face of this portion whilst connected to the back. Each tie rod is telescopic and its two ends form respectively a hook (54) and a pivot. |
