Zip-fastener and its lock, which zip-fastener comprises two flexible bands 11, 12 in whose opposite edges there are overlapping hooks 21, 31 which form hook rows 20, 30, and which zip-fastener lock 15 comprises a frame part 17 and a pulling member 16, which hook rows 20, 20 are joined to and released from each other with the aid of the lock 15. In the surface of the lock 15 of the zip- fastener 10, or in a part 16 thereof, there is a friction- enhancing catch surface and/or part 23, 24, 25, 28, 33, 34, 35, 29, 39, 48, 52, 53, and in the band 11, 12 or the material of the zip-fastener 10, in immediate proximity to the zip-fastener 10, there is friction-enhancing material 22, 24, 26, 36, 37, 38, 47, 51, 54 formed in such a way that the catch surface and/or part 23, 24, 25, 28, 33, 34, 35, 29, 39, 48, 52, 53 of the lock 15 and the friction-enhancing material 22, 24, 26, 36, 37, 38, 47, 51, 54 form surfaces which come up against each other and which increase the friction in such a way that the lock 15 of the zip-fastener 10 is held in place in the desired position. <IMAGE>
