In connection with an embodiment for embedding open thread inserts/bushings in connection with casting, injection moulding, press casting of details, a sealing plane (10) is established between the thread insert/bushing (3) and the pin/holding fixture (4). This is accomplished by the thread insert/bushing (3) being provided with a sealing plane (9), where the thread ends, which seals against the pin/holding fixture (4).
