<p>The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a crank shaft made of several parts for reciprocating-piston engines, especially internal combustion engines, with bearing journals (20, 22, 24, 26, 28) and crank pins (12, 14, 16, 18) in which at least the crank pins (12, 14, 16, 18) are press-fitted or shrink-fitted into corresponding holes of crank webs (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 49) and are additionally welded at the ends and, optionally, to achieve an operationally reliable construction, the crank pins are cooled to a certain minus temperature, the crank webs are heated rapidly in the region of the circumference of the holes, closed-ended connecting rods with sliding bearings are slipped onto the crank pins and, finally, the crank webs and crank pins are brought together and beam-welded at the ends and the circumferential areas of the crank pins. <IMAGE></p> |
