<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting and separating cobalt in an aged electroless nickel plating liquid at a high extraction rate. SOLUTION: This method for separating the cobalt in the aged electroless nickel plating liquid comprises extracting and separating the cobalt from the aged liquid into an org. solvent phase by bringing the org. solvent contg. an extractant consisting of bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethyl butyl) phosphine acid compd. expressed by the formula (X<1> , X<2> denote oxygen atoms or sulfur atoms) into contact with the aged electroless nickel plating liquid contg. the cobalt and nickel and mixing both.</p> |
