发明名称 LASER BONDING METHOD OF BALLOON CATHETER FOR BLOOD PIPE FORMATION
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to constitute a balloon catheter by fusion-bonding in a way with the least bent conduction from the connected point when a balloon is bonded to the axis of a catheter for balloon expansion. SOLUTION: The procedure to assemble this balloon catheter includes a step to selectively converge laser energy along continuous surface parts of axis parts or neck parts of a catheter tube and an expansion balloon 20. Wavelength of laser energy and the polymer material for the balloon and the catheter are adapted so as the absorption rate of laser energy to be large to minimize the heat transfer quantity by thermal conduction in the axis direction from the bonding points. This enables to minimize crystallization and stiffening in areas in vicinity of the bonding parts and to position the fusion-bonding parts in vicinity of a base conical part 24 of the expansion balloon 20 and an end conical part 26 keeping soft and flexible properties of the conical parts.
