摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To damp the yawing moment of the lock preventive device of a vehicle by computing the brake pressure difference, based on the control pressure of the wheel of a vehicle performing the lock preventive control. SOLUTION: A lock preventive device (ABS) recognizes the lock tendency of a low-friction wheel (LR) at a point of time t1, and besides lowers the brake pressure (PB) of an LR, and continues it to a point of time t2. For the pressure maintenance, the new pressure rise of LR occurs at a point of time t3, and it continues until the control cycle begins anew. Meanwhile, the PB of the high-friction wheel (HR) goes up until it gets fixed when it reaches the PB differenceΔP to LR at a point of time t4. The PB rise is delayed temporarily by the signal of ABS, whereby the yawing moment at start of braking can be decelerated. Moreover, the PB differenceΔP is proportionated to the control pressure Pmax of LR, and the braking distance can be shortened more by making use of the braking action of HR to higher degree, in condition of better road condition.
