<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security mechanism for an integrated circuit, which no longer works normally when its cover is once opened. SOLUTION: When a circuit box is covered by a cover 20, pawls 24 attached to the cover 20 come into contact with an integrated circuit 16 to hold it in-between, and when the circuit box is completely covered by the cover 20, the pawls 24 hold the back side of the integrated circuit after being elastically deformed to pass over its external surfaces. When the cover 20 is opened for wrong purposes, the integrated circuit 16 held by the pawls 24 is moved upwards and no longer works normally, because it comes off from an electronic substrate to which it is soldered. Legs 22 are rigid sufficiently not to bend outwards, and the integrated circuit 16 is securely held by the pawls 24.</p> |
