PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a light pipe provided with flexibility and permeating effectively the light. SOLUTION: A light pipe is provided with a core having the following characteristics from the core weight: i) C1 -C18 alkyl (meth)acrylate of approximately 72-99.8wt.%, ii) Functional reactive monomers of approximately 0.08- approximately 20wt.%, iii) Refractive index increasing monomers selected out of styrene, benzyl acrylate, benzyl methacrylate, phenylethyl acrylate and phenyl ethyl methacrylate of 0-approximately 10wt.%, and iv) A reaction product with a reactive addition agent of approximately 0.1-approximately 10wt.%; and its clad is composed of a fluoropolymer. |
