PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a film layer hard to peel and stable even after soldering execution by forming an Fe/Al alloy layer by the mutual diffusion action of Al and Fe and baking the same in an oxidizing atmosphere to form an Al2 O3 film to form an insulating corrugated plate. SOLUTION: One insulating corrugated plate 1 is immersed in heated and molten pure aluminum to form an Fe/Al alloy layer on the surface of the corrugated plate 1 and subsequently drawn up. Next, a first layer 21 wherein one corrugated plate material 1 and one flat plate material 2 are superposed one upon another and a second layer 22 wherein one flat plate material 2 and the insulating corrugated plate 13 having the alloy layer formed thereon are superposed one upon another are formed and a solder material 4 is arranged above and below the corrugated material and the first and second layers 21, 22 are superposed one upon another to be wound in a roll form from one ends thereof to form a honeycomb member 10 which is, in turn, soldered in a vacuum heating furnace. The soldered honeycomb member 10 is baked to complete a metal carrier 11 containing the insulating corrugated plate 23 having an electric insulating film layer. |
