PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide timewise reality in a game by activating a derivative scenario defined by relative time corresponding to real time ticked by a clock as the elapsed time of the real time in the game for generating the derivative scenario based on the lapse of time. SOLUTION: For a video game machine for a household, a game machine main body 1 and a ROM cartridge 2 are connected through an interface 3 and an RTC 4 for automatically ticking a year, a month, a date, an hour, a minute, a second and the day of the week and a backup memory (BRAM) 8 are incorporated in the ROM cartridge 2. In the BRAM 8, the plural derivative scenarios to be changed by the lapse of a time are prepared and the activation order of the respective derivative scenarios is decided by time intervals. Also, the correspondence table of the derivative scenarios and the relative time for activation time intervals between respective states is prepared. Then, the derivative scenarios defined by the relative time are activated as the elapsed time of the real time corresponding to the time ticked by the clock and the game is advanced. |
