PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a wide and long clad flat plate by supplying a steel sheet as spiral state to form a spiral steel tube, winding and welding a corrosion resistant metallic sheet on the surface of this steel tube, cutting and flattening to obtain the flat plate. SOLUTION: The steel sheet 1 is formed as the spiral state and the end edge 1a of the steel coil 1 and the other end edge 1b of the steel coil 1 are butted, and a submerged arc welding 4 is applied to produce the steel tube 2. A titanium sheet 3 is wound on the surface of the steel tube 2 and the one end edge 3a of the titanium sheet and the other end edge are overlapped and a resistance seam welding 5 is applied, and the formed titanium coated tube 6 is laminated and closely stuck to produce the corrosion resistant metal-coated steel tube. The produced corrosion resistant metal coated steel tube is cut and made to the flat sheet by flattening to the bent part. The cutting surface of the flat sheet applies the welding of Ti-Fe with the resistance welding to prevent the invasion of the air, water, etc., into gap between the titanium sheet and the steel sheet. |
