PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester yarn suitable for a filling yarn for a high-speed water jet loom by incorporating a yarn with an oil solution containing a metal salt of a polyether addition-type alkyl phosphate as an essential component. SOLUTION: A spinning oil solution composition is prepared by compounding a metal salt of a polyether addition-type alkyl phosphate such as potassium polyoxyethylene oleyl phosphate in an amount of 1-10wt.% based on the total composition as an essential component and further, a lubrication component such as a mineral oil, an emulsifier such as polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and an antistatic agent such as an alkyl phosphate. The obtained spinning oil solution composition has the maximum value of a hydrated viscosity of >=1000cPs and <=100,000cPs in the water mixture having a water content of 10-70wt.%. A polyester multifilament yarn obtained by spinning through a spinneret and cooling to solidify in air is furnished with 0.5-1.5wt.% of the spinning oil solution composition followed by drawing. Thus, the objective polyester filling yarn for a high-speed water jet loom with a rotational speed of >=800rpm is obtained. |
