<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance by spouting a hot melt sealing material/ adhesive into each joint of a floor finishing material using a hot melt gun, filling the joint perfectly, coupling the edge of the floor finishing material, and thereby producing a material bead. SOLUTION: A joint 7 is formed by installing elements of a floor finishing material 1 such as tiles or sheets at a specified distance using a gauge, and the floor finishing material is affixed to the foundation floor 2. The tip of a hot melt gun 6 is inserted into a groove in the joint 7, and a hot melt material consisting of ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer is spouted into the joint, and the part under the tip 6 is filled by the hot melt gun 8 until the part overflows. The surplus material bead 5 extruded onto the joint 7 is sliced away using a knife, etc., so that the bead 5 is flush with the floor finishing material. According to this procedure, sealing of the joint or coupling can be done quickly and easily.</p> |
