In the case of a shell component consisting of fibre-composite material having at least one access opening, which can be closed by a cover (5), for an aircraft part, the invention comprises a first region of the shell component, which contains the access opening with the cover (5), being constructed to be flexible predominantly in the longitudinal direction, and a second region, which surrounds the first region, being constructed to be predominantly stiff in the longitudinal direction. In this case, it is particularly advantageous that considerable material savings result which, in turn, result in considerable weight and cost reductions.
